Kakela Matsumoto, KSC GameStop’s senior guest advisor, has been with the company since 2014. He recently moved to the KSC location about a year ago. Originally from Manoa, he is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and is currently studying Japanese language at the University of Hawaii.
Having worked at other GameStops around Oahu, Kakela says the KSC location is his favorite.
“I love working here because you become good friends with the other stores, as well as the shopping center’s security staff,” says Kakela. “I am also a big fan of Honu Bakery and am always ordering their savory snacks!”
When not at work, Kakela loves to play Call of Duty on his Xbox or play basketball!
