Kamehameha Shopping Center

Kamehameha Shopping Center is a double-anchored shopping center serving the Kalihi, Kapalama, Salt Lake, Palama and Nuuanu neighborhoods, just outside the urban core of Honolulu, Hawaii. Located on the corner of Likelike Highway and School Street, the Center’s location offers easy access to residents who live nearby as well as commuters heading to Kaneohe and Kailua.

Built on lands once owned by the Royal Family of Hawai`i, the Kamehameha Dynasty, the income from lease rents of these bequeathed lands goes towards supporting the educational endeavors of the Kamehameha Schools, a renowned educational system with its main campus a half mile away, and campuses also on Maui and the Big Island. The school has served this community for generations.

Kamehameha Shopping Center opened in the early 1960’s and has been expanded, renovated and re-tenanted to meet the growing and changing needs of the local community. The combination of both local and national retailers, open air atmosphere and bi-level parking structure collectively provide a wonderful family-friendly shopping experience
