Rosemelita, or Rose as her colleagues call her, is the Assistant Customer Service Supervisor at our KSC Hawaii National Bank branch.  This year marks Rose’s tenth anniversary at the branch.   Her job duties include monitoring financial activities, performing audits, reviewing reports, managing cash levels, as well as training and developing of new employees.  Working at Hawaii National Bank gives her a feeling of enjoyment and satisfaction because she enjoys connecting with customers and helping them resolve any financial issue. Her coworkers are a delight to work with and that camaraderie has helped her grow professionally. 
 
Rose is originally from San Julian, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines in the middle of vast farmlands and graduated from a private Catholic University. Before she migrated to Hawaii, she was a high school teacher for 24 years.
 
She loves cooking, watching TV and playing online scrabble in her spare time.  When not cooking she loves eating at Kam Bowl, Liu’s, L&L, Ba-Le, McDonald’s and definitely needs her Starbucks and Jamba Juice fixes from time to time. Since she lives in the area you can always find her at Times Supermarket and Long’s Drugs. She is very happy that Spectrum is now at the center and the one store she has never been to is GameStop. Clearly those online games are more to her liking.
