Tenant Profile of the Month

Store Manager PATRICK KANG has been with Peppa’s Korean BBQ for the past 25 years. Many of you may remember the space as Yummy, but the Peppa’s brand has been at KSC since October 2019 and is one of 3 locations on Oahu. He was born and raised in Korea but moved to Honolulu in the 1990s. Patrick loves the friendly energy of the customers at KSC and the restaurant’s location between Times and CVS Longs is great for foot traffic.

The most popular dish on the menu is the #13 MEAT JUN WITH CHICKEN. Did you know that Meat Jun is a Hawaii dish with Korean origins? It consists of thinly sliced beef dipped in egg batter, then fried and served with Gochujang based dipping sauce which is made from red peppers, fermented soybeans, rice, and salt.

When Patrick’s not behind the counter, you can find him shopping at Times or playing golf at Waialae Country Club.
