| Meet CVS Long’s Kisha Castro |
One of the best things about KSC is entering CVS Longs and hearing that joyous “aloha” from the store’s lead cashier KISHA CASTRO, who has been sharing that greeting with customers for the past seven years. Kisha’s philosophy in life is that you never know whose day you could be brightening by just wishing someone a genuine “aloha” with a big smile.
Kisha was born and raised in Liliha, and spent many an afternoon with her grandparents shopping at KSC. She recalls stopping at Star Market to pick up some luncheon meat and remembers there used to be a movie theatre where GameStop is located today. She went to McKinley High School where she excelled in volleyball and basketball.
Kisha’s favorite places to stop for lunch are Yummy’s for the Barbeque Chicken, Panda Express for the Eggplant Tofu with Chow Fun, and Suma Ramen for Mochiko Chicken. But when she’s not satisfying her taste buds, she’s waiting for those “red tag” sales at Jeans Warehousebecause as she puts it, “they have my local girl size at great prices.”
